As underwhelmed as I was with the entire showing, I thought it was very cool of them to be so straightforward with the specs.

I can attest. OP is actually a PS hating scoundrel Glad to see they managed to change your mind. :D Hopefully they can stay on the good first foot.

I'm unable to be blinded by them even if i'm a big fan of them

I was able to get through the whole ps3 obstacle because i knew that this company had more in them than what was showing at the time

I know what i'm looking for


we still need to see about that price point though

If the PS4 launches at $399 then the japanese market will have a chance to flourish freely on home consoles again

and games will actually sell from the start. We wont have a lot of companies going out of business either

It was decent and obviously you had all that imagination,creativity BS, and the social media. Also hinting at emulation of all PS SW, which they probably will not completely do. But all in all, they showed a ton of decent games and that is what mattered to me, and the specs were nice.

Something, I can guarantee you, cannot work in reality. Just imagine 10000 people playing a PS3 game "backwards" (assuming none of the people have bandwidth caps on their internet connection to start with). Who processes all the data? What about horrible lags due to ping times? This is not watching digital movies, this is supposed to be real-time interaction..

I have to say that I agree. One thing I definitely took away from the conference is that Sony has learned from their mistakes and is trying to fix them with the PS4 (although I'm still worried about the price)

yeah man, the dude who explain the hardware was so eloquent.   Really I was impressed on how he explained tech lingo with so much simplicity.   If this dude was a techer in my university, everything would have been so damn simple!!! lol.   This dude is really good at his job, no wonder why he is the head designer of the PS4.

I am a fan of the dude after the presentation, that is why, even though Knack does not look as impressive as it should for a PS4 game, I will buy Knack the first day it arrives in order to support the dude that made the PS4 so awesome! XD
