It all depends on PS4. If the PS4 is doing great then Sony has more money and teams it can give to vita. In addition later on in life when Vita gets to $150 it will sell a lot for remote play.
If PS4 does mediocre then things for the vita will continue as is.
If PS4 has a bad first year like PS3 then the vita gets discontinued.

Does it sound like I'm joking?

"I expect the Vita to have a 10 year life on the market. Think about how powerful it is."
"When it does get it's first system seller"
"I expect sales to raise eventually."
"...third parties will then become more attracted to the vita."
"Let's say that the Vita sells 4m on average every year of it's life. Multiply with a 10 year lifecycle and bam, 40m consoles."
"This is my prediction at a bare minimum"
...
Yes

Yeah, that doesn't sound like a joke what so ever and all you are doing is making pointless statements. You disagree then say why. As you can see, me and Kowenicki had a good conversation about this and if you feel like contributing then do so, but as i said dont ridicule
Vita will start selling well and crows will go extinct. Gamers should really get behind this system, it is great. Stop the hate.
Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

10 years is way too long if its only going to get 4-6mil hardware units sold each year, just saying!

i Dont think 3rd parties will completely bailout. I also dont expect a big incline in sales this year either. I expect it to be anywhere between 7-10m by the end of this year. I expect it's biggest incline to be either in it's 3rd or 4th year.

Add about 5 Million on to that number and I would call it the absolute maximum, especially if it keeps selling like this.
