I really wish not so many "jRPGs" were done in SUCH a blatant anime art-style. Or even just not that SAME general anime look. You look at something like Fullmetal Alchemist, that was anime, but it still had it's own look. Or Ni No Kuni, because obviously Studio Ghibli has always had it's own look and feel that defies typical anime conventions.

I just wish more Japanese rpg developers would take a different approach. Even great games with pseudo-realistic looks like Xenoblade and The Last Story, had character with ridiculously anime inspired haircuts and whatnot....just don't see the point, really.

Yes PS3 really came into it's own JRPG wise as this gen went on. At first X360 really took the crown, and Wii had it's Xenoblade game and Last Story was alright, But PS3 is definately where it's at for JPRG's this gen (Consoles wise that is)
