Of course I'm expecting something around the $600 AUS price mark, would get alot of people interested here much better than that $1000 ps3 launch price.

Given that the console will have 8gb of gddr5 and a dedicated hdd my bet is 499 with a small loss.

its an odd mishmash of high end on the ram, upper mid range on the gpu, and lower midrange on the cpu... still will cost a bit i expect it to be sold at a loss say 499.99 using the gddr5 will help hide issues in the cpu but i still feel twoards the end of its life the "eight core" (4 module ) will actually limit what the gpu can do. it will be an interesting switch form this gen where the ram and then gpus were the choke points

Nothing they have shown so far indicates an exorbitant price.

Im thinking a base price of $399 and a bundled price of $450.

Other regions will obviously pay more.
