Just like the Nintendo guys back in 2011, its completely normal for sony fans to be excited. Its a new console, so every gamer should be ecstatic.

Im a pretty serious poster 90% of the time but when your bored as hell at work a lil trolling is fun from time to time.  Im not saying I dont believe some of the stuff I said cause I stand by a lot of my points but the getting all worked up thing was just trolling

That being said Sony fans are startin to come across as far too overconfident about something we know nothing about   I'm seeing predictions everywhere of Sony dominating this gen, that MS will provide nothing for core gamers, that Wii U is doomed, and endless Kaz avatars.   In fact I love hype but I think some Sony fans should controll their expectations. 

After all the PS3 had immense hype with saying like "The next gen doesn't start till Sony says so" and we all know how the first few years of the PS3 went.

Be hyped for the console and games but no reason to try and tear down or insult other consoles and fans.

OMG I feel 100% the same way you do. Kudos.

It's way too early to tell, even when the systems all are out and about it will still be too early. It would require a little bit of time on the market before any substantial predictions can be made.

Sony "might" win this generation but they will never ever return to their previous state of dominance.  During the PS1 and PS2 generations they didn't have a rival with deep pockets who could subsidize machines. Yes Xbox came in but they were late and still learning the business at that time.  Those days are over.
