That isn't a bad point but I still don't see it happening.

MS will do very very very well if it's built in...but what's worse...if they make kinect 1 incompatible with nextbox........... it's not even a question. Logistically, K2 must be in the box.

It will be in atleast 2 of the 3 or 4 bundles they will release.

2 of 3 is good, but 2 of 2 is optimal. But 2 of 3...that's alright.

MS will have a strong position going into the gen if they make it a standard. Maybe they just don't have the courage to risk it going all in, but that's where the big pots are.

They'll be atlest 3. The lower powered 720 that's just for casuals remember? They're, in a way, releasing 2 consoles. 1 for core 1 for casual.Everyone always forgets about the "other one".

Kinect/ xbox tv bundle, then a core stand alone 720 and of course a core/kinect mix up bundle.

This Kinect 2.0 looks to be about 3 times as powerful and twice as quick. I think that will be a nice and noticeable upgrade, and hopefully be able to pull off the sword fighting that should be in Kinect Star Wars (actually, quite a bit of the game is fun - runs to hide).

I think its great to drop the motor. It makes the Kinect harder to place, then if you could just Velcro it to the top of the TV (yea, I said it.) Plus it means less trouble if you travel with it.

Plus having the background sound reduction in the device means it can be used in every game. If you only uses the commands "Sort by Weight" in Skyrim, IMO it's worth it. (But it also fun to learn the dragon language and used those commands. )

The area that seems lacking is the latency and the depth of fields.  I hope it can use a broader range (as in closer) easier. I'm glad they are improving it, but I think that could still use improvements. 

PS Doesn't anyone else think it's interesting that this came out The Day After the PS4 announcement?  A little snickering by Microsoft?
