and frankly, i hope that nintendo doesn't start churning out M rated games at the rate microsoft or sony is.  the impressive thing is that nintendo hasn't needed them to make more money than microsoft or sony games.

but let Hus have his fun--button mashing is no comparison to the motion gestured ManHunt II, No More Heroes and the likes.  nintendo's saying, "we'll just keep making our kiddie games, but we'll let the mercenaries do the dirty work."

@lingys: basically this is also my attitude to the whole thing, i respect the ps3 but it just isn't exactly my taste. But I think i never attacked ps3 while hus is doing this all the time and i this is what i dislike about him.

Yahh Br success has nothing to do with superior industry support or the PS3 affect, something Sony is doing well it has to be luck.

gonna give credit where credit's due.   speaking of which, i have seen 0 xbox fans.  where are they?

1. More selectiv read of the sales numbers. The total 3rd party software sales for Wii in NA is larger than the all software sales for PS3.
2. It means that the sales is so disapointing that everybody is in wait and see mod. Which means after the initial games arrives, PS3 owners might find themselves in a game drought, even it those games sells well.
3. Your actuly correct, sadly for you and many other Sony fans, sales are more important than the power of the system

Home is unproven--do you want to compare it to second life?  if it's second life, than over 40% of the activity is sexually related.  you want to compare it to the $1.6 bln youtube?  that's something sony dreams about.  or do you just want to say "hey, it hasn't come out yet, anything can happen!"

BR success--i'll give you that sony is actually doing a lot of right in this arena.  but they've also been lucky--some structural (like they themselves are in the movie business, they have the playstation brand as leverage), some consumer trend related (HDTV prices coming down faster than some thought).  hey, i personally don't care about either HD or Blu-Ray--i just hope online delivery comes sooner than later.
