PS3 now is tracking 29% down yoy but it still seems undertracked near 1 million WW... so the sales for Europe and Others can be better than what VGC shows.

I expect after all the adjustments the PS3 down below 20% yoy.

Great year for PS3.

20% down YoY is not "great", and if it continues, would put it at around 3 mil less than your prediction which you linked yesterday.

20% down yoy with no price cut and none of its big 3 out yet (GoW, LoU, Beyond) is good.

If it keeps dropping like this...not for long.

For anyone that's caring FW USA for Dead Space 2 around 212K, and 155K, compared to DS3 which was 255k and 137k. It's also down 26% in the UK from DS2.

Essentially selling only 20k more than DS2, (though this is excluding PC sales) and selling less in UK means the 5 million mark isn't likely.

However, I'm not sure about VGC's tracking of DS2, Every indication was that DS2 outsold DS1. But on VGC that isn't the case. DS2 compared to DS1 was tracking 2 million to 1.4 million 10 months after release.

I have a plan

Price cut... GoW, TLoU, Beyond, GTA, BioShock, CoD, FIFA, etc.

I think this comparison is going to begin showing just how poorly Vita is doing in Japan soon, since Wii-U is doing extremely poorly (launch aligned) but managing to at least keep kind of stable thanks to Mario & MonHun.  But Vita will begin to plummet (I can't remember if there were any major game releases after launch aside from Tales of Innocence).

This comparison is really showing up how weak Wii-U is doing in USA & Europe though, and it's only going to get worse through February.

It will still be 12 more weeks until the Vita drops below 8,150.  It's pretty significant in terms of percentages, but in raw numbers in means very little.  I don't see the Wii U doing any better until DQX and Wii Fit U, neither of which actually have a release date yet.  The Wii U probably has at least five more weeks of nothing, and in that period, the lowest the Vita got was 9,846 with a bump above 10k the next two weeks.

Because clearly games are boosting sales so far. Dead Space 3 didn't stop it from falling. I know it ain't huge, but it's bigger that Beyond probably and around the same as Bioshock no doubt. And CoD/FIFA happen every year, so surely it'll have helped last year as much as this one?
