Where's option number 5?

I am a mindless drone that already bought the system because it has the Nintendo name on it. That would be the one that I select.

It seems that Rol would have fallen under this option too. You guys are too easy! ;)

Rol claims that he found it on sale...

Rol is obviously hiding behind this. He doesn't want to announce to the whole of VGC that he is just a NintenDrone like you and me.

I don't care who knows that about me.

Back on topic, I wonder how much people want the system to drop in order to buy it.  If it's about $100 like some are saying then they aren't going to buy it for a few years.

Nintendo is doomed.

The lowest Nintendo could go is 50$, I'm guessing. Then again, didn't they say a price-cut wasn't even in the works?

I wanted to wait until the first price cut to get mine, but after one too many clashes with my girlfriend over who gets the living room television after work, I realized getting it early could solve a problem in my household. It has helped, and other than that sexy MH3U bundle, I do not regret it.

I have no idea how much they can drop the price.  I am guessing not much because of the controller.  Greatest web browser ever.

Yup, it launched too expensive here in Europe, and I doubt I'll get it before a price-cut. I'd also like some games I want to play, to come out first.

On Feb 20th we may find out when and if there will be a Wii U price cut, but I think Sony will wait till e3 to give us this info.

I'll probablly buy it at closer to 200 dollars. The Wii U interests me more than the Wii did and I bought that.

As for your OP I hate to be the barer of bad news but Wii U didn't get off to a good start at all. You say sale slump after the holidays but Nintendo revised their projected shipments down after Dec 31 report. Meaning the Wii U missed what they were expecting during the holiday period. They will most likely miss their new projection too.
