I have been thinking of grabbing a Wii U this year and there is this store in Sweden that is selling UK versions of the Premium Wii U (for some strange reason). Not only that, it's about 900kr cheaper than the Swedish version of the system.

So my main question is: Can I set a country for the system when I boot it up? Or will it be automatically be set to UK?

You shouldn't have any problems. If I remember correctly choosing your country/region is one of the first things you do. All games bought in Europe will work.
