I doubt it'll be anything new or significant, although I wouldn't mind seeing an actual release date for games like Animal Crossing or Pikmin 3. :D

If you watched their last Direct, they did mention at the end that one was coming very soon to focus on 3rd party Wii U games.

Yes, I noticed before. I think the eShop-admin can't change it. Everytime he tries he bursts into tears.

Actually what would be even funnier is if the game was already uploaded on the eshop server and the release data did not change and it automaticlaly unlocked the download for all haha.

3rd party ND was more like a mistranslation. I believe it was corrected during last quarter results that they'll talk about third party expand and development at GDC, even the conference have been dated.

Althought, Iwata stated a 3DS focus ND, which will happen in a matter of hours.

I see that NPD data for January will be revealed tomorrow. It's possible this is the "We know 3DS sales were down this January compared to last, but look at all these sweet games that will drive sales later in the year" Nintendo Direct.
