Have you ever been so hyped for a game that you couldnt admit that it was bad when playing it?

I rarely play games that is bad but the one game I did this with this generation was Turok.  I loved Turok growing up soI wanted this game to be good for a long time and I stuck up for it for a little while and until eventually I just said this game is horrible.  Still I want them to continue this series as I honestly think that they could make a good one still.

Not ever.

This gen i was only hyped for 2 games that were baaaad!

Assassin's Creed 3 left a scar that will never heal.

L.A Noire, repetitive up the ass and booooooring!

Prince of Persia Warrior Within. Sands of Time is one of my favorite games of all time and I was hyped for Warrior Within. They changed the art style so much and made it more mature. I could however admit while playing the game that it was bad (not as good as Sands of Time).

Nope. I don't continue playing bad games once I've noticed that it sucks and I'll warn people. I've never been hyped for a bad game. I so rarely make the mistake of buying bad games that I can't even remember the last time I was disappointed by my choice in a game. Maybe I don't have as high of a standard as some people because some of my favorite games have gotten 5-7 meta critic scores and I see a lot of people compain about 8 - 9 meta games.

Never!!

I will let the world know what i didn't like about a game i had high hopes for. Even if it has something to do with 1 of my all time favorite series in gaming.. *looks over at Final Fantasy*

I was pretty hyped up for both of these and they were major let downs.  I was hyped up for Final Fantasy 13 and Darksiders 2 as well and they were very disappointing as well.

The only game I was so hyped up that I didn't originally dislike the game was Playstation All Stars.  The game was very fun, but the more I played it and the better I got with the characters, the more unbalanced I saw the game was and the more I didn't like it.  It also doesn't help when every new patch that SuperBot released made the online worse and added more bugs and glitches into the game.  I once said Playstation All Stars is better than the Super Smash Bros games because at the time I thought so, but I couldn't have been more wrong.

Yes, for the first 40 hours of FFXIII. Especially the first 20 hours I was like this game is awesome right? right? Now it is just a huge disappointment, and I would have preferred to not have played that game.

Starcraft 2

I LOVE ICELAND!

Devil May Cry 4.

I was so amped for it after playing 3, one of the best games of all time IMO. And after I got it, the first couple of months I completely glossed over it's flaws because of how great the combat was. Looking at it now, though, the story was half-baked, the new characters were annoying, and the constant backtracking and recycling of stages and bosses was lazy bullshit.

While it wasn't as dull as 2, it didn't even deserve to shine 3's shoes.

Have some time to kill? Read my shitty games blog. http://www.pixlbit.com/blogs/586/gigantor21
