Don't believe those reviews that got released when GT5 was new.All those people didn't play the game at all.

I think we will see what the PS4 can do when Naughty Dog,Guerilla Games and Santa Monica show their stuff.
Of course the PS4 will be the strongest NextGen Hardware but people without a job were already crying for the 600$ PS3.
They have to decide - Even more power and another 600$ or 400 or so for a console that still is the best around.

Depends - Are we talking about the patched Crysis 2 or the garbage they released at first to annoy PC Gamers?
The patched Crysis 2 is destroying Crysis 1 cause the CryEngine3 is obviously better.
And Crysis1 looked only that insanely good with the realistic mods and all that stuff.We have to know if they are talking about unmodded Crysis1.

I don't really care about fps, 30 is good enough for me. 1080p is good though. Compromising frame rate for more activity and more detail on screen is fine by me. Compromising resolution for more on screen is also fine by me. The jaggies elimination, zero screen tearing, better textures, better physics, better AI are all more important to me as advances for the next gen. If that can be done at 1080p then that's great.

I think he means Crysis 2 at max 60 FPS AT THE BEGINNING of the console cycle. Thats the starting point probably.

That's what I want to see... PC games in max settings in 1080p and 60fps... you need a top GPU to run Crysis 2 in these settings on PC.

GT5 looks better... have more details in screen... and yet runs better in 1080p without downgrade the graphics to 16 players... there was no comparision here, just the standards cars look worst.

I would guess it will be able to get beyond that in time, but for now, that will probably do, though I might just launch Crysis 2 in 1080p 60fps with my lovely 670

I would expect ND to be able to get much better looking games, as I am sure their first title will be nice and linear, so even better looking

so crysis 2 on console is 30fps and 720p and he expects that it would run with 1080p and 60fps on ps4 with better anti-aliasing, lighting, shadows and whatever else which the pc version has?

not to forget that we will probably still see 30fps games and/or even 720p games which have much more room then to let the graphics increase in other areas.

i think that sounds pretty strong and he probably didn't mean the possible maximum for ps4 in 6 years or so.

Why are people using PC benchmarks as a basis for how next gen console games are going to look like?

if they can make the launch games look that good, imagine what the console is truly capable of. the graphics on ps3 was getting better and better dramatically every year.
