I saw the commercial for this game last night.

Wii U boxart wasn't even in the ad :/

On Sega's website the Wii U version's release is listed as TBC (to be confirmed), not TBA (to be announced).  So according to Sega themselves the Wii U release isn't waiting to be announced, but rather waiting to be confirmed.

In short, the Wii U version is not yet confirmed to ever be released.
