They stopped manufacturing PS2s? Any link to that from Sony?

I didn't grow up during the golden era of the Ps2, so I can only speak for games that I replayed way after their original release date.

1. Shadow of the Colossus - no other game is like it. Amazing.
2. San Andreas - such a huge game. Technically was pretty good for it's time
3. NFL street 2 - not the best game but the fun factor is infinity
4. Need for Speed: Most wanted - Better on 360 but still my favorite racing game ever.
5. Dragonball Z Budokai 3 - OMG DEM FEELZ D:

Honorable mentions: Both God of War games, Kingdom Hearts, Vice city, Guitar hero 3

1. Shadow of the Colossus - Ze bestest. 
2. Metal Gear Solid 3 - Best MGS game.
3. God of War - The pissed of dude that started it all.
4. Resident Evil 4 - Awesome game. 
5. San Andreas -  Amazing mission variety and value.

there are alot of games that i want to add, but these were probably the ones i had the best memories with

Jak and Daxter and Rumble Racing were my childhood, I played those games every day from like 2001-2004. Jak and Daxter was actually my first home console game that wasn't a racing game. (Pokemon Blue was my first game ever)

I tried to fit one of the Gran Turismo or Ico studios games, but five games is five games, after all.

I actually surprised myself when I thought out this list. A Ratchet game should be in there, but I preferred the PS3 Ratchet games (ToD & ACiT) in all honesty. Final Fantasy, which would make up 3 of my top favourite games on PS1, was nowhere to be seen, bumped by Media.Vision's magnum opus Wild ARMs 3 (really, it was that good).

Most surprising of all though was when I sat down and thought about it, SSX 3 was the most fun I had on the PS2. EA, the company who raped, murdered then spat on the corpses of Bullfrog & Westwood, topped my list. I have to hand it to them though: SSX 3 is the most perfect extreme sports title I've ever played; I think it's unlikely it'll ever be bettered.
