Could be a smart addition, depending on how it's utilized. The cost seems insignificant and it will help counter MS Kinect 2 - somewhat. Auto-login with face recgonition would be a nice touch.

All these full bundled rumors with cameras is making my think a $400 price point is unlikely.... $450+ is becoming required. Depending, of course, on subscription options (if either do this) and how much of a loss they are willing to take per unit.

Well, like Turkish said earlier, they could have an sku without it for $400 or something and then a $450 or so one with the camera.  

Sounds pretty nifty. Don't like the idea of it being bundled with every system, as that would not only drive up the price but also encourage devs to use it in gimmicky ways (which no-one wants really).

VGleaks almost lost their credibility with this article. The key thing that saves them is saying it doesn't do full body tracking.

It is incredibly hard to track 3D motion (like kinect) with stereoscopic cameras. Sony will probably be using them for 3D video chat and the like.
