Hey welcome back Troll Whisperer :)

Will you still buy one of them (or both)? - The chances will fall dramatically. Will have to see what they offer and might pick them up when they are obselete just to play halo and uncharted etc.

Will you get a WiiU instead? - It appeals to me more than gamecube and wii ever did as consoles. I am thinking of picking this up eventually anyways. Yes.

Will you game on PC? - I do game on pc right now and will continue to do so.

Will you stop playing altogether? - Nope. I do think about cutting down the game time and time spent on browsing game news and forums.

What's so bad about always online?

There really nothing wrong with it but in some situation when your internet get disrupted you can't continue playing your game is stupid.

It's usually set up so that you only have to be online when you sign in/start the game, so your internet can crap out during the game and you can still play. You'd still need a connection to start though, which sucks.

We'll have to wait and see though. I mean if it even gets implemented. In games like Diablo 3 you have to be online even when playing single player. The online connectivity acts as kind of DRM.

I always stick with PC - Wii combos.

If it's true alot of people, me included, won't buy the the consoles or the games day one we will wait for pricedrops

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

Damn straight. You better recognize greatness when you see it boy.

I would never support such a console based on principle. I would not allow myself to send the message that it's OK to take away my rights as a consumer and enforce such rules. If all of the Big Three were to adapt such policies, I'd feel comfortable in all the games I already own up to this point + any other used games I can find in stores or online to last me for the rest of my life.

I'll still buy both of them because I'm a whore.
