The real question is why are you so bothered about it that you resort to attacking him? The heads of the gaming industry have always been used in memes, and it's heating up because of the rumoured PS4 announcement. Kaz, Don, Reggie and so on are just reacting to the possible PS4 announcement.

It's not this forum... it all the internet... this guy is a icon in the videogame industry.

The success of the PlayStation and PlayStation 2 just exists because this guy and now it is the Sony's CEO... wikipedia: he was noted by Entertainment Weekly as one of the most powerful executives in the entertainment industry.

Edit - The origin of this meme records to 1995... too much history to tell... any first PlayStation fan knows this man.

I now who he is and what he's done. He's just so lame. Are people really idolising the "RIIIIIIDGGGGE RAAAACEEEEERRR" guy? He's just so lame just like all the other executives in the video game industry.

Well thats part of the fun. But its mostly just because ps4 is coming and people are excited, pretty much started after Kaz said they would not show first, he lied.

It doesn't bother me. I just honestly don't get the joke. Are these suposed to be sarcastic or are they suposed to be badass? Kaz is no cooler than the rest of the lame industry leaders. If anything he's one of the lamer ones. I'm either not understanding some new Sony fanboy love of him, or I missed the memo about some ironic joke about him. Either way I really don't get why his goofy smile is plastered everywhere. Some are funny in a stupid way, but there are much funnier gifs than these. Most seem like they are some kind of fanboy way thing and if that's the case I don't understand using the "RIIIIIIDDGGGE RAAAAACCERRRRR" guy.

I already mentioned why. They are being used to personify the companies because they're iconic. And any "fanboy love" (watch your wording there) of the heads of the gaming industry is just a lighthearted joke. Many Nintendo fans pretend to worship Reggie / Iwata just to express that they are fans of that particular company, and it's the same with Sony fans and Kaz / Ken.
