I do believe Nintendo "dreamcasted" himself this time but what about Microsoft? They could be cooking something big with Kinect 2 or that wall technology thing.

This is just a bad prediction. Not because i dont think Sony will bounce back, because I think they will. It is bad because there are so many other tech companies that have been even worse off than sony and have managed to bounce back .

I mean, even fellow console maker nintendo had a much bigger comeback this generation than sony is even capable of. OP should modify so that it will actually make sense. I dont think there is a tech company out there that is anywhere close to having a comeback similar to apples. Apples comeback is the greatest of all time, sony would have to be dead in the water and then suddenly rebound to be dominant in every market to have that kimd of comeback.

Bigger then Gamecube to Wii? I think not.



Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

that's the prediction, sony will go from being a near bankrupt company, to one of the biggest entertainment companies ever once again..

when will this happen? By the end of PS4 lifetime? It's not clear in your OP.



MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

We'll see. As others have said, I don't think it could possibly be the biggest comeback in entertainment history or even in gaming history considering Nintendo went from GC to Wii.

Orbis could dominate and be the #1 system of next-gen but it will be very tough. Nintendo has a tight grip on Japan while Microsoft has the U.S. Sony will have to have a brilliant strategy coming in next-gen to win them markets over. I don't think they can be #1 just by dominating Europe.

That's a great predictions and I hope it comes true!
But the real question of Sony's ability to be competitive or even dominant next-gen is if they can save the Vita. They need to take drastic measures to make this a viable platform for developers.

1 failed product is all it takes for consumers to lose confidence in your company. Sony, don't let the Vita be a failed product.

The wii is not the best home console this gen on paper, if you take the professional reviewer's word for it..
