Forums - General - It has finally been decided as to who would win Goku vs. Superman

Second complaint.

How did goku instant transmition so far in front of Superman?

I thought his ability only sent him close to someone else that he could feel. Don't think he can use it to teleport to any random spot in the world. Or can he?

so late this was already posted lol

In respect to Goku's speed they calculated earlier. Their number is stupid.

Earlier in the video they said that instant transmission was "instant" Thus its speed is "infinity" Not whatever they calculated.

I don't really care who is stronger. I like both people. And as they said at the end. Strength isn't what their about. Goku's story is about overcoming odds of strength. Superman's story is about overcoming odds of diversity.

So wouldn't story wise Goku win the fight and yet Superman become Goku's friend or something like that?

Wayyyy old lol... But yeah the vid was very well done. Enjoyed every bit.

I never quite understood just how overpowered Superman is. He's basically a god.

Then you've never heard of Green Lantern lol. In the shows the only way they defeat Green Lantern is by lowering his confidence and they make him take his ring off. He's one bad ass mofo. The movie with Ryan Reynolds was terrible though.

Just don't attack him with the color yellow lol

I didn't watch the movie, but remember watching Justice League years ago, and I don't remember Green Lantern dragging around planets, or surviving inside the sun, or taking a blast with the force of a supernova and being unharmed.

Then again, I don't think the JL Superman could do that stuff either, and I've come to realize that superheroes/villains in comics are way more powerful than they are on TV. (Magneto can manipulate nonmetal objects, is effectively immortal, and he can TURN INVISIBLE? WTF?)

The thing is that the show is called Death Battle and the only real rule is that is a battle to the death, even if that part does not match the characters personalities. If we write a crossover, the result would be something like you mention, but the idea of the show is to define who would win in a battle to the death.

I was under the impression that teleportation requires too much energy for Goku to make use of it in the heat of battle, which is why he has to rely on his natural speed.

they say concentration not energy.

But later in the series goku uses the instant transmition to move around soley while fighting close quarters.  The clip they showed of him saying he can't concentrate was earlier in the series.
