Forums - Sony - Sony cuts ties with PSASBR devs

Sony blaming the developer when the blame was Sonys inability to secure Cloud, Crash, Lara Croft, Snake, etc.

But this does reinforce the point that you can't just make exclusives for the sake of making exclusives. You need some guarantee that it will meet certain expectations.

there is no character that would have made a difference, the game failed because of the gameplay, lack of game modes, overall bland asthetics, and lack of advertisment.

Wow, that seems quite harsh.
I have to wonder if it's due to the sales of the game or that Sony only partnered with them just for PSASBR.

Best of luck to them, I didn't like the game that much.

My ideal Playstation brawler woulda been a 3D brawler game a la Powerstone.

It was not celebrating Playstation unfortunatly.

Its probably Sony's fault as this game shoulda been a big budget title.

Companies are starting to drop like flies. The VGChartz "latest stories" section is pretty much an obituary for the game industry right now.

Kind of scary considering it'll cost even more do develop games for next generation most likely.

That's because the industry is not going in the right way.

Don't you read his post? "what coulda been"

And no, SBB is not the best fighting game this gen, ever heard of SF4, TTT2 or DOA5?

This doesn't bode well for a sequel... I'm quite sad. This could have been an incredible series, PSASBR is a great game.

No one can say a certain fighting game is better than another as a 'fact'. It's all a matter of opinion. I mean heck there are many who don't even consider smash to be a fighting game. It's all about preference

Damn, Sony

I actually want SuperBot to do the next Battle Royale

I wonder if Omar Kendle and that Asian guy will end up going to Santa Monica

Battle Royale could've been a lot better but i blame it mostly on Sony because they act like they dont know how to advertise THEIR FUCKING GAMES MAN!!!!!!!

The Internet knew all about the game but the rest of the world was still clueless, and then they only release a commercial in 1 region SMFH

TF!!!
