Forums - Gaming - Game Informer's Dead Space 3 Review

Accourding to this post from NeoGAF Game Informer gave Dead Space 3 a disappointing 7.75 out of 10.

here are the details:

they praised the game for it’s improvements in the graphical department.

parts of the game were not as polished as other two games.

satisfying shooting and loveable new weapon crafting system.

general atmosphere of the game is not nearly as creepy and terrifying as previous games.

human fights are unnecessary and poorly excuted.

co op is a lot of fun but different from what thay have said before.

replay value was moderately low

embrago will be lifted in release day so wait for more reviews. more details in the link below:

Polish being lowered is what I was afraid of.

Very disappointing. Lost a lot of respect for Visceral games for turning this franchise into another generic shooter.

I didn't like the direction this game went from the very first trailer at the E3. Seems like I was right -_-

This has EA written all over it. *cough* Mass Effect *cough*

Whoa easyyyy there Pezus.

All three Mass Effect games were amazing, even if 3's ending was poorly executed.  What ya got against Commander Shepard?

I blame aging consoles.

Surprise surprise. sorry EA, not getting my money, i don't give my money to companies that insist on shoe-horning frikking co-op into games that should be singleplayer

Just sayin'. They want to turn everything into shooters or increase the action. (ME, Dragon Age, Dead Space, SimCity /jk)

This is true. I think they probably tried to get Bioware to make it even more generic but Bioware wouldn't have it. Still loved the original Mass Effect the best with it's old school sci fi Rpg elements, but the others were still great. But yeah I get your point...

Why? The game being good or bad doesn't have anything to do with aging consoles.

Lol. Vgking just wanted to post something. I don't know why people use "aging consoles" as an excuse for bad games. You can just look at the tech being used recently such as Halo 4 completely taking advantage of all the 360 has to offer to know that these current consoles STILL aren't even maxed out yet.
