Hmmm don't see much of a difference over GoWIII except improved lighting. The manticore looks quite good however. It's hard to improve visuals on such old consoles.

This is the best looking game I've ever seen! How did they make it look so good?! Nothing else on consoles released or upcoming even comes close. Just imagine what God of War IV looks like on the PS4... wow. I've watched the 30 min demo today and now the wait for this game is just unbearable, I want it now! :)

Although I agree, at least from these screenshots, it doesn't look much better than God of War III.

It totally beats The Last of Us graphically.

The Last of Us has more greenish environments, i call that prettier not better.

Yeah I mean updating "old" engines vs. building a new one from the ground up, though I have to say from what I've seen the latest Uncharted games IMO still look visually better than The Last of Us.
Beyond definitely looks better than Heavy Rain though.

Just improved lighting? I bet it has topped GOW III on other levels especially character art, fluidity. Simply the best looking PS3 title to me.

I agree with Barozi and CGI

It looks beautiful but honestly not really much better than GOW 3. Which is fine as that game is gorgeous to this day. The biggest improvement looks to the lighting in the engine
