I think it's a headphone jack at the very bottom.

But it's said they have several prototypes of the controller..so we won't know for sure what it will be like until the unveiling

Also: The touchpad isn't necessarily something you'd want to use 'instead' or at the same time as the analog sticks while playing...

I would see it as a complimentary addition to the available inputs.

Assuming the new controller has a touchpad, of course. "

I think if this is the final design sony did real good. New not so expensive additions + improvements to previous aspects like sticks/dpad + Better/more comfy design
