Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Iwata knows that the core gamer needs love (Good input by Iwata)

Sakurai reminds me of a Korean Starcraft star.

Think twice before helping a friend in need.

Nintendo would never forget about us! We did keep the Gamecube afloat!

Well of course they aren't, Corruption, Twilight princess and Galaxy should have proved that.

And Brawl and Kart are coming to cement that

But that's kind of by default isn't it? I mean the 360 is mostly has hardcore games and the PS3... well.. has no games :D (flame me sony fanboys, flame away!). I'd even go as far as to say that the Wii has the easiest run because it hit the casual market first, it's a home console, so logically dropping a few AAA hardcore gamer titles would happen no matter what, but enticing the casual market is not something that happens by default.

@Rolstoppable: I think you meant

"Everyone who understood Nintendo's strategy for the Wii would have never have thought that Nintendo would abandon the core gamer market."

The way you said it made it sound like Nintendo was going to  abandon the core gamer market.

Bringing back Project Hammer could help us abit and maybe release abit of info of Disaster: DOC.

If Too Human isn't a success, Silicon Knights will crawl back to Nintendo the same way as Factor 5. Then we might see that ED 2
