I am literally salavating just looking at the logo... ooh man this is huge!! I was NOT expecting a full reimaging! This is easily top of the list for most anticipated games of the year!

(Also, Nintendo, why on earth are dropping "2026" when we are literally entering the second half of the year? Just give us this release date! What are you doing?! You're killing me here lol!)

Glad you're excited! If I may be so bold, I strongly recommend you play the original game before diving into the remake. I think that would make the 2026 release even more meaningful. Plus, the original is a brilliant game!

Hmm... I'll think on it. I appreciate the recommendation. Knowing that this is a reimagining and not a one-to-one recreation, I do agree that perhaps it might be better to play the OG before jumping into the remake. Will need to see if time permits.

Slight color grading in second image - I find original a bit too cold and blue

Honestly I'm on the opposite school of thought. Especially if most puzzles etc are recycled I think you're in an amazing position to experience the game with fresh eyes and have everything be new.

New poll is up! "What kind of Ocarina remake do you prefer?"

Isnt it the purpose of this segment? Give the spector a sense of coldness, loneliness and worriness to then contrast with the small light of hope from the triforce of courage? Now your edit make the atmosphere looks too cozy and relaxing

Idk - I find the original to be too blueish, it kinda irks me the wrong way. I tried not to overdo it, I could've gone with something like this if I actually wanted it to feel cozy:
