A big thank you to the thread creator for posting Vita news outside of the official thread.

I often see great news headlines for the official thread..but can NEVER actually find the details when i go into the thread. Its waaaay to big and messy to navigate to exact articles

Anyways looking forward to all the vita games :)

I also wonder what they mean by a 1:1 relationship between the two engines...surely its not possible without some form of compromise apart from resolution.

I would say just leave a comment and ask for any specific piece of info you need in the OT. Everyone is pretty helpful with hooking people up with info

Hmmm i dont think thats a solution...i often see interesing stuff in the OVT...so i would be asking too many times.

Perhaps a solution would be to update the OP with links to posts or something like that. A latest news section...

But yeah that would be a lot of work on your behalf... Oh well its not realy a big deal.

sorry pal but yeah..we post so much news/info there it would simply be too much work for me. But don't worry about asking questions too much etc..we all do it :)

In case anyone didn't know (I realized this on my second play through), you don't have to move your hands away from the face buttons to perform the touch gestures in Uncharted. If the gesture says to swipe up, a little swipe in the corner of the screen works fine. If it says left, a little swipe left in the corner works.

Even works when they want you to do patterns like a Z or triangle. Once you're drawing properly, it works. It doesn't have to be huge swipes in the center of the screen.

Personally I think they would be better off trying a new IP with their current technology than another Killzone but whatever. At least the environments in this game look industrial and gritty, how Killzone should be. None of this jungle bull ****.

Are you talking about Guerilla Games? Because they are making a new IP plus Killzone 4. Killzone Mercenary is going to be developed by Guerilla Cambridge.

And I don't agree that this game should be a new IP. Vita need original IPs and it gets those (Soul Sacrifice and Tearaway being the other 2 biggest hits announced so far), but it also need big brands that will draw people to it, just like CoD did. The game is crap and yet it's the second best selling game on Vita. That's why every third big game (I think it's the best ratio) should come from a known and loved franchise.
