7/10 is like a 5/10 these days. I remember back in days Game Informer gave Paper Mario Gamecube 6.75. That caused quite a lot of controversy. The writer even had to give an explanation about the score.

Ehh I can't really argue with it. Ni No Kuni has a lot of faults, and it's around the 7-8/10 for me as well. It's a good game for sure, but I don't see what makes it better then any other JRPG this gen.

Im not super far in it but it seems 9/10 so far to me. Though i'll say that there are a lot of other great jrpgs that came out this gen like the last remnant, vesperia and lost odyssey.
