I'm a bit conflicted on that. While the cutscenes are really pretty under the HD, in the battles, the character models get very VERY jaggy.

My personal opinion? if you're getting one for "X" eventually, then get it. If you think there will be a price drop during that time though, don't.

Absolutely not.  I've played the game on both Wii and Wii U, and the difference is not all that noticeable.  If you think you would like the Wii U in general, go for it, but the upscaling shouldn't factor into your decision.

Each area tops an area before it.

Thanks. I aczually decided against buying a WiiU for now as I have such a big backlog and dont want to be bothered with transferring files.

The only reason I might is that I could finally play Zelda II again.

Thanks. The WiiU will come eventually, but then I will first finish my Wii games on the Wii.

I disagree. Colony 9 is not the weakest area. Arguably Central Factory or Galahad Fortress is.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

I also don't know why people have only just realised it's awesome. As mentioned earlier in the thread, there was a time last year when the official thread was getting around 50 PPD on the topic of Xenoblade; you didn't see many nay-sayers in there.

Perhaps it is due to the Wii U launch? Sales increased somewhat dramatically when it launched; enough for it to be 68th (I believe) in the SW charts in November/December.

Just imagine, if the WiiU applied anti-aliasing to Wii games...

I probably would have bought one, just like I refused to buy a PSP yet bought a Vita partially for that reason.

Think it's possible for Nintendo to add software anti-aliasing in a future update?

The game looks great enough on the Wii U as it is; jaggies are far less visible and everything just looks crisper (particularly the grass). It would be nice, but I'd expect it to be difficult if the games weren't built with the feature in mind.
