Forums - Nintendo - Vigil games sends a message to Nintendo.

This isn't the type of game Nintendo needs to add to their portfolio. I'd rather something different than something that is already inspired by Zelda.

I am current playing darksiders 2 on the Wii U. It plays more like the prince of persia games of the 6th gen meets god of war than a zelda game. It would be nice if Nintendo bought the IP, but who would develop the game? perhaps they could be vigil games (or the main developer) as well.

Bet with ninjablade:

Ninjablade wins if the next 5 multiplat on the wii u are inferior to the 360 version.

I win if one of the 5 mulitplats are on par or superior on the Wii U.

Nintendo really should help these guys out: with the right guidence they'll make amazing games, and there's no one like Nintendo to bring out the quality from other studios!!

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Am I missing the reference? Is this a reference to Zelda or what?

I'd rather see these guys work with Sony Santa Monica, they would make an awesome addition to the studio.

Seems like it's beyond saving. Already closed.

"I'm sitting at my desk among... what appears to be a warzone. The walls look bare. It's quiet...The seats are empty."

"But am I sad I don't have a job? Not really... I'm sure I'll get another one eventually. I'm sad because it won't be THIS job. It won't be at Vigil. That's why I'm sad. The people I waged war with are no longer together. The people that I bled with, vented with, argued with (often times LOUDLY), and kicked back with... these people will never be together again in the same combination."

"¡Viva la Ñ!"

If Nintendo shows interest in Vigil, a development contract seems more likely than an aquisition (much like they did with Mistwalker, Ganbarion and Sandlot). This could give Vigil a financial buffer while they look for another third-party publisher.

EDIT: Wheurgh, they dead

WHERE IS MY KORORINPA 3

Microsoft should get them. There is no hack and slash game exclusive on their system.

edit : Seems like they are closed. Too bad.

Perhaps this is an invitation to Nintendo to try and get them to buy the company. I wouldn't mind Darksiders III being Wii U exclusive; so long as it actually gets made (same with Bayonetta 2).

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

As I said in another thread, the simplest (and cheapest) solution for anyone interested in Darksiders is simply to buy the IP in the upcoming auction and hire the now-redundant staff.

There's no point buying the whole studio, and I'm not sure it's even possible anymore since I'm pretty sure they're defunct. But it would just be a waste of money if they did.
