I guess it's better than nothing but seriously lol.... It does come off and desperate. Vita needs a price drop asap. I don't care how much they'd be losing on each console, Vita needs a $100 significant price drop to steal away sales from the 3ds.

At this point in time I don't think the handheld market is a major concern to them. The dominance of the 3DS doesn't really affect the company as a whole, and they need some major cash inflow right now.

Actually, it did make sense. I was joking around saying that no one knows what the Vita is. In turn, they can't tell their friends about it because they don't even know about it. (I didn't want to write all of that. It had to be a punchy one-liner!)

Let's say that I have two friends. One of them knows about the Vita and its games, capabilities, price, etc. My other friend is not aware of the Vita's existence.

 

Which one of my two friends is in more need of marketing to consider buying a Vita?
