I'm trying to find a TRUE HD gameplay video of Final Fantasy Versus XIII, but such a thing doesnt seem to exist!  The Youtube HD video's arent actually HD, every single one of them is just 480p Upscaled if you pay attention.  There is a lot of visual quality issues in them.

Anyone know where I can find one? I'm attempting to do a comparison between Monolith and Versus XIII :P

They are both HD JRPG games with World Map's that are (Theoretically) coming out around the same time.  I just cant seem to find a real freaking HD gameplay video of Versus XIII ><

I'll give you my answer, X whatever the hell looks better from just eyeball I'm sure you see it too.  The characters models and animation look better in versus. The environments look a lot better in X. But if you play xenoblade in dolphin, Some environments look better than in Final Fantasy XIII. Particularly on pulse because of the horrible grass (which XIII-2 fixes).

 The X videos are really compressed too, comparing youtube videos isn't the best way to compare graphics.

Weren't most (if not all) gameplay scenes shot off screen ?

What are you trying to prove with that comparison btw. ) If it's just that FF has better graphics then I'd agree.

IMO X's entironments look nicer, but we have yet to see how the cities will look in that game, and the animations/SFX simply aren't on SQE's level yet.

Is this a troll thread? We all know VXIII isn't going to be released in 2 or so years. Possibly ever...

Im not trying to prove anything, im just curious how well the JRPG that is going to close out the PS3's lifespan compares to the first Major HD JRPG on the Wii-U :)

Worth noting that SE has said they have revamped the Graphics engine since the last trailer to make it more modern, so the graphics in the last trailer are 2 years old at least.

:( That's aso upscaled, you can tell by the little smudge effect or seam effect that occurs when there is a slight change of color.  Look at Noctis back when he is walking away from Stella at the beginning of the trailer, its quite noticable there.
