I totally agree. im just bad at this prediction thing. ^^ I'm better on analysis of market behaviour than straight number predictions.

This? If so, then no, I still don't see how people come up with predictions of 10-14 million by year's end. Do you? According to that link Diamond/Pearl sold a bit over 3.4 million WW in 10 weeks. Are we to believe X/Y will triple or quadruple that...?

That is Japan only. This site has the "Global First Ten Weeks" a bit weird. They just show the week it released first and then the following 9 weeks.
