Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

I find Abrams to be meh at best. But hey, this could be the gig that changes my mind. Now Nolan would've gotten me excited.
I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

I really hope this isn't true. I'll always be grateful to Abrams for Lost, and Super 8 was a solid movie -- a love letter to Spielberg, really.
But I can't forgive him for his treatment of Star Trek. I know I'm in the minority on this, and that many here and elsewhere love Star Trek (2009), but it was a disaster for the franchise.
I don't want him anywhere near Star Wars. Although one could argue the series has nowhere to go but up.
Mister Plinkett already approved in 2009!
“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Might be too early to call Arndt "great." Toy Story 3 was definitely great, but Little Miss Sunshine was supposedly just meh. Granted, meh will do better than Lucas' dialogue <_>. Lucas advising on worldbuilding and general story with a competent screenplay writer under him is the ideal split here. |
Little Miss Sunshine was excellent. I wouldn't mind that kind of screenplay for Star Wars in some form.

Don't be dense, his point is pretty clear. He liked Lost, thought it was epic, and think Abrams could pull off that level of epic with SW. Even though I disagree about LOST's amazingness (after realizing they were just making it up as they went along and had no clear direction), I still can see where he's coming from. I hate posts like "what's your point?" when it's pretty clear what he's trying to say, even if you or I disagree.

Gyhahaha, good one :D
@topic: I'm really torn if this would be good news or bad news. One one hand I really liked his reboot of Star Trek, but on the other hand...you probably wouldn't be able to see anything once more than 2 guys with a gun or a lightsaber are on the screen at the same time :D
Michel bay would have been better, I want to see transforming robots, boobs and explosions in my star wars

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

If I thought you were serious, there would be a price on your head right now.
Signature goes here!
Great, a silly twist ending that revels in the glory of stupid gimmicks all along the way to get there.

Actually, the main ideas of the show (including the ending) were already planned from the beginning. There were parts and individual story elements along the way that were ad libbed, but the main element running in the background where evil devised an elaborate plan to bypass the rules and dispose of good was always present throughout the entire show and when you rewatch it you notice those events and things make a lot more sense.
