Forums - Nintendo - InterWorks Pro Controller U is Awesome!

So, l decided to buy the Interworks pro controller for the Wii U as opposed to Nintendo's official procontroller.   It's an awesome choice for two reason.  Number 1, it looks awesome.  It's like someone shoved a tiny snes/Super Famicom controller into it,  and the abxy buttons even have the same contours and feel as a SNES controller.  2, it works on Wii games.  This is awesome.  I was using it on Xenoblade chronicles earlier, and there is no way I would go back to using a wired classic controller.  I'll try it on more games and let you know how it works, but so far it's been great.  Love how the D-pad and ABXY actually feel like a SNES controller.

NOTE:  This is not a pick of my controller, but one I found on the internet, and it does come in both SNES and Super Famicom colors.

Hows the battery life?

Oh, wow. I shall be searching for this, and hope it is available in my country.

Looks good. Worth considering when I do buy a pro controller for my WiiU.

nostalgia always follows Nintendo. Stop digging the past people.

Haven't done any marathon gaming session yet, and I tend to charge my controllers between uses.  It's been fine for the 4 or so hours I've used it, though..... reviews around the web say it doesn't have the battery life of The Wii U Pro controller, heard some people say 5-10 hours.  I'll let you know when I play more, though.

Another point in it's favor is that it has a buiolt in IR pointer and tilt control, and it's only 35 dollars.

looks great...

Sounds like a good choice.

Legacy is Nintendo's strength. People will buy things from them just because of nostalgia.
