Yeah all the Nintendo fans are happy and smiling cause they're console games are being praised but Sony fans are irrated that he can get away with publicly hating on a game. They really serve no purpose other than to start a rage war between people.

Did he even have a choice? Imagine what would have happened if he had bashed MK7 instead of LBP. It's (almost) general consense that MK7 is better than LBP, if it were different the thread would not have worked at all.

What if a Rol changes his intention and is actually looking to get a rise out of people.  "oh it ok, its just Rol"

I guess I'm in the minority here. I only found MBP's thread funny, and I consider myself a Sony fan.

You're NEVER alone on the internet. Rol's thread seemed horribly forced and was in no way up to his standards (as far as I remember them from my time as a lurker), while MBP's was a great parody^^

I fully understood where MBP was coming from. We were getting a flood of all these "unbiased review" threads, I was just waiting for someone to do what he did, I was considering doing it myself.

EDIT: Also, I don't think MBP was intentionally trolling PASBR, just look at his sig, he loves the game.

He was pushing the boundaries in baiting.

For example, just to show the difference - Rol... Hes had 2-3 troll/bait threads since ~April 2012. He doesnt need to try so hard to be noticed. People know Rol. People know what a Rol Thread is. Rol has been funny for Years.

In short, the odd baiting troll thread is funny. Trying too hard to get a rise out of people is petty attention seeking and it isnt funny. Mods can understand funny.

I agree with the last thing you said here.

Regardless of how long you have been here, everyone should adhere to the to same rules.
