I never had a problem with Hope. It was Snow and Vanille that really got to me.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

I liked Vanille! But I seem to like things other people don't!

Well, it was mostly Snow. Terrible, terrible, terrible acting.

I think the dumbest thing I've done in a game was stay in one place in a game, thinking it was an event that I couldn't move in, and wasted a lot of time standing there when in fact I could progress. However, it wasn't really a mistake, but I do find it rather embarrassing.

The first time I played Dark Souls I played all the way to Undead Burg not realizing that I had picked up a better weapon than the one you start with. The whole time I thought to myself that people were right, this is the hardest game of all time. I had to very carefully lure enemies away from groups to take them out one on one and I made made trips to the bonfire to build up my strength and other attributes.

Without knowing it I had a better weapon right there and I didn't notice. The level boss took me forever to beat and I felt like I had just done the impossible and wasn't sure if I really wanted to keep playing if the game was just going to get harder.

After the bird dropped me off and I made my way to Undead Burg I died on the bridge and was so frustrated I started looking at the menu to see if I could make my character stronger and that's when I noticed the sword. I equipped it and suddenly the game was easy and I felt like an idiot.

I must have died hundreds of times with that damn sword in my pocket.

But would it have felt as good if it hadn't taken all your skill to do what you did?

lol, true. I did feel like an idiot, but then I felt like a badass.

In Pokemon Yellow, I usually heal, and then save to turn off. Sometimes I forgot to save.

I was browsing through the (tiny) Gamecube menu about 5 years ago and thought to myself, "Wait a minute, a Metroid Prime 2 save file on my sister's memory card? She hates that game, so I must have created that file at some point by mistake... I should delete it so it won't bother her."

Well... No, my sister had not played the game in secret. And no, I had not created that file by accident. Turned out it was my memory card that I was browsing, and that I had deleted my Metroid Prime 2 file with close to all equipment gathered...

Proudest day of my life.

About and hour and a half into the final boss is Persona 3 FES the boss used Moonless Gown (reflects all attacks instantly killing the attacker) and i accidentally hit the triangle button which automatically made me attack... she was at like 1/8 health and that was my 3rd attempt... havent tried again since.
