I don't really care for these popularity contests, as they often seem to glorify the biggest, uh, super-fans rather than the best posters, but I'm gonna make an exception here, if only to push against that trend.

I knew what he was trying to do. But if he thinks this is all silly then he might not want to vote for anyone because it would basically show what he (overall) doesn't want to do. But no one has to listen or even care what I say, it's just my opinion.

Yeah, but the reason he thinks this is silly is because it glorifies super-fans. So by not voting for super-fans, he would be fixing what he finds silly.

It was pretty confusing...
What I was trying to say is that him voting for anyone, despite thinking this contest is silly, would do the opposite of what he wanted. (Which I'm guessing is that these Contests never happen.)

What he was trying to say made sense to me. My reasoning or understanding of that is same as Jay. Anyways i am going to leave the thread so people can actually vote or not vote.
