I plan on putting a urinal in my home bathroom when i buy a house. i think they are great! Public ones are best when they atleast have a divider
I only feel a little weird if I have to use the urinal right next to another dude. It's all look straight forward at the wall and don't shake it more than twice type of stuff then.

I'm not, i'm proud of my schlong and anyone in the restroom may see that.. other men who stand besides me at the urinal always make this nod out of respect and acknowledgment of my schlong

I never pass up a urinal, unless I have to go in between 2 people.
It feels wrong.

| Dodece said: @spurgeonryan Have you ever considered the possibility that it isn't the urinals they are avoiding but you. Seriously though I prefer the stall. Whenever you are at a urinal you are at the mercy of whoever decides to sidle up next to you. Who wants to take a piss next to someone who is wheezing, smells like shit, randomly spasms, or has nasty looking growths on their body. Sure you can ignore them and focus on the puddle in front of you, but that is usually equally nauseating, because some people think that Urinals double as Spittoons. That all said I think that Urinals are at best a outdated concept, and at the very worst a full blown conspiracy. To deprive men of the toilets they both need and deserve. Hell I think public restrooms are a conspiracy on the whole. Anything taking space from toilets should be reconsidered. Urinals takes up space that could be better used for a toilet, and the same goes for the wall of sinks you usually find in public restrooms. I have reached this conclusion, because it is a recurring nightmare that has descended upon me many times in my life. There I am about to shit myself, and I bolt into the restroom. Only to find the paltry amount of stalls occupied, and it is at that moment that I curse the fucking deranged architects or public officials who for whatever reason cannot see the situation for what it is. The highest demand thing in a public restroom is the toilet. Nobody would die if they had to get in line to use the sink, and nobody will die if there isn't a Urinal, but people have been known to soil themselves while waiting for a stall to open up. Talk about throwing people into desperate situations. You are stuck standing there, and everything starts to look doable. You start to wonder if you can get away with taking a dump in the Garbage can, or even in the Urinals. You contemplate storming the Ladies restroom, begging or outright threatening the current occupants. You even consider going down to all fours, and if you wait long enough something truly terrifying happens. You begin to contemplate the unthinkable. That you are just going to have to take a crap in your pants, and that is about the time when you start to do that death moan, and someone in the stalls takes honest to god pity on you, and finishes up as fast as humanly possible. Let me be clear I haven't actually shit myself since I was a small child, but I have come close a number of times, and it is always as terrifying as the last time. Just some food for thought. I wonder if you will think about what I just said next time it happens to you. |

The dangers of the toilet seat are purely a urban myth. Perpetuated by industries that feed on irrational fears to get consumers to buy their products. I know it may sound absurd, but the average toilet seat is far more dangerous to your average microbe then it is to you. You can actually eat off the toilet seat in a public restroom, or lick the top of it all day long, and chances are you will not get sick. Hands are the vector for diseases, and they almost never touch the top of a toilet seat.
In a supreme irony the urinal is actually less sanitary. Even if it is self flushing. What do a lot of people do when they use a urinal. They rest their hands on the wall, or on top of the urinal itself. Often in the same place where people before them placed their hands, add in the fact that people sneeze, cough, and breath heavy in that area, and you got yourself a prime breeding location. Granted if you wash your hands afterwards it shouldn't really matter.
The absolute worst culprit in the restroom, and the one most people forget about is the door handle at the exist. None of your precautions mean a damn if you touch that thing. I always laugh to myself about the people who diligently wash their hands. Only to walk over, and grab that thing bare handed. People forget that a lot of people are thoughtless, or just plain slothful, and don't wash their hands before they leave the restroom. That thing is literally coated in snot, saliva, shit, and not just from one donor, but hundreds if not thousands. If anything in the restroom is going to make you sick it is that thing.
The greatest health precaution you can take in a public restroom is to use a paper towel, or a piece of toilet paper as a barrier between your hand and that object. Who here would like to confess to not doing that as a matter of habit. I know saying this makes me sound like a public health announcement, but I look at it like I am banking some karma. If I keep one person in this thread from getting sick it was worth it for me.
I have an attractive pecker and it doesn't like being stared at.
Isn't it wonderful to pee using the urinal?
You guys can have mini chat sessions with your neighbour while relieving yourself.
But watch where you aim. Ok? =P
