It would be nice to see other wii u owners/future owners give their wishes as well. It doesn't matter how laughable they are (I know the one I want most is) or if they are a wild stab in the dark. Unannounced games, rumored games or perhaps some long forgotten franchise which nintendo could seek to save like bayonetta 2. From my most wanted starting here

1. Hyperdimension neptunia

I have watched footage of this series on youtube and this looks amazing. It has to be the most creative game I've seen. It also has to be the most unlikely to see a release. But a man can dream right? The music in this is great. I have my fingers and toes crossed but I HIGHLY doubt this one will happen. As long as nisa remain loyal to sony my prayers will never be answered :(

2. Grand theft auto v

Ok now I don't care what anyone thinks. I remain convinced this will happen eventually. A big company like rockstar will not completely ignore wii u. Especially when nintendo is after that audience I would be surprised if they haven't paid for it. Rockstar is bound to have a presence on wii u eventually. To this day they continue dodging the question. Yet they came out and said a straight 'no' for ps4. If it wasn't ever going to happen I believe they would have denied it at that point. Since platforms were revealed it would be silly to keep dancing around it. I think it will get a later release with a pc version.

3. Tales of somethingorother

This one will probably happen. I just hope it gets localized. I hate this damn region locking.

4. Senran kagura

This is actually a very addictive game. Despite the obvious appeal about lesbian ninjas with big boobs showing, its very compelling. But I would be lying if I said I didn't want it for both reasons.

5. Marvel vs capcom

One day. One day. I have played the series last gen and played ultimate at my local hmv. I love this series and would definitely take it over tatsunoko. Am I the only one?

Honorable mentions

Dead or alive, devil's third, mass effect trilogy, dragon quest localization and naruto ninja storm.

Neither of those will ever come out on the WiiU.

Most of the mp games for this year skip the WiiU: Tomb Raider, Metro, DmC, Bioshock, Dead Space, MGR R, Dark Souls 2, GTA5, Naruto etc.

We might see some of them getting ported to the WiiU months later, like NFS Most Wanted.

1. Hell no! niche JRPGs don't stand a chance on WiiU (or 360 for that matters). The audience is 100% on PS3 and NISA hasn't developped outside playsation all this gen over. Btw, don't you have a PS3 to play this game? If you like niche Japanese games you should definitely shed those 250€.

3. Possible, I do see Namco doing simultaneous releases on PS3 (4?)/WiiU.

4. Possible, the series is still tied to Nintendo from what I heard, but I reckon it will depend on how the VIta episode will sell.

Its unwise to take not confirmed as not on there. In regards to tomb raider the woman who originally deconfirmed it admitted to not being aware if plans had changed. There is a square enix multiplat due out this year in development. And after walking dead was confirmed for day and date release just two months outside, anything is possible. The only ones skipping wii u that I know of are rising, bioshock, metro and dmc.

The main series of senran kagura is set to continue on 3ds. It is possible they could include vita with it if this sells well. Wii u is probable because they are actually making most of their profits on nintendo and even x seed (who they own) just had their best selling game on wii.

Tales may get on there but the thing getting me is if it gets localized. Namco localize that series however they feel like which is sad.

For neptunia, I have said my favorite games are Japanese. I already said the chances are this isn't going to happen. But this list is designed for games I want regardless of how unlikely they may be. In this case 0.000001%. I don't have a ps3 sadly. I have thought about getting one. Just never got around to it. I am hoping to change that one day but it won't happen anytime soon. I also haven't caught site of this game in any of my local stores so I would have to go web browsing. I pay in gbp btw. Lacking in cash atm though. Which should be understandable considering I just shed £300 on my wii u.

I'm only interested in Watch Dogs and Splinter Cell. If I find other games interesting, like Bioshock Infinite (which I actually don't find interesting, but I enjoyed the other 2 entries, so what the hell) I have no problem getting them on PC.

As far as Nintendo consoles go I care about very few 3rd party games and when I do care they are exclusive. I'm a big Nintendo fan so I buy Nintendo consoles for Nintendo games. The SNES was the last Nintendo system that I bought more 3rd party games than Nintendo games. My Wii library is basically a stack of Nintendo games with an occasional Sega game and one or two RE light gun shooters.

Dead or Alive will come (if the series is still being made after how much DOA5 bombed!) and I'd imagine Devil's Third will as well. There will be a Tales of game on Wii-U at some point as well, I'm pretty convinced. I don't think Senran Kagura is going to leave handhelds in all honesty.

The rest of them... I have to agree with Ryuzaki. If you're listing these as games you actually want to play, why not get a PS3? Compile Heart (Hyperdimension) & NISA look likely to be staying loyal to Sony for a while yet. GTA5 we know is coming to PS360. Maybe Wii-U version will come at some point, who knows. But for the time being. PS3 would satisfy your need to play them!

If you're doing this from a "this is what I'd like to see on my favourite console" point of view, I can see where you're coming from. It just seems a little silly that you seem to be a fan of niche Japanese games, which PS3 has been getting a lot of lately, then you spend £300 on a Wii-U which has just launched with like two Japanese-focused titles overall and only a couple more on the horizon.
I understand you can have loyalties to a company and all that, but PS3's were £125 over Christmas! You could've bought a PS3 + upgraded hard drive of your choice + about £150 worth of games for the price you paid for your Wii-U.
Your choice anyway. Wii-U will get there eventually, I'm sure.

Dead or Alive, GTA 5, Tales and Naruto have good chances of coming to Wii U. A Naruto and a Tales are pratically ensured.

I also expect to see Watch Dogs, Splinter Cell, some Final Fantasy game (talk at neogaf by a known member said this is pretty much a given), Battlefield 4 and Pilotwings (oh yeah!).

As I pointed out, I am walking around for cash atm but I find it quite hard to justify a ps3 on my own. It isn't fanboy bias or anything. The group I attend for 'special people' once a week have one so I can get the games and take them there but I haven't seen sign of neptunia. My main problem with ps3 is the controller because my hands are big. My best bet for neptunia is ebay. The ps3 though I can play it once a week at my group so when I am scraping for cash its hard to look at it.

I actually think at least half that list ends up happening in the end. It might take some time but I can see dragon quest coming here eventually.
