Yes i will be windows based. I can almost guarantee that. However I highly doubt it will reserve 3 GB of ram. I think it will be much closer to 1 GB for the OS

I think the Skype integration will use a lot of memory, skype while playing online and Kinect at the same time might use a lot of memory... not sure 3Go is necessary though.
