So, how many more buildings have Sony left to sell?

Your selling building and making profit, cool.

But not having proper base of operations in New York and Tokyo......kinda big cities to have some presence in, just shows Sony aint one of the big players anymore.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

The base will continue the same... nothing changed about that.

Sony made a rent contract... this is a common trading in the business market.

It is expensive but have some advantages too like you don't need to worry about maintenance or general adminstration building... that's all responsibility of the new owner... you don't need to pay a lot of employees for that... so less trouble.

IBM did that here in Brazil with some buldings.... I work in one rented.

Holy cow that was one hell of an investment they made.

Sony is in a transition, I never doubted Kaz. The upcoming PS4, 4K and OLED tvs, Sony's rejuvenated mobile business will bring new opportunities for Sony to gain the marketshares they lost.

Xperia Z will signal the revival of Sony. Being the flagship Android phone months before the S4 comes out will help them alot.

Some people are hell bent on Sony going out of business.Don't matter how positive the news,it will always be spun.
