PS4 is the best choice for the brand.
i do like Omni though but what I'm thinking is
USA + Europe = PS4
Japan = PSOmni

4 is only bad luck in japan so why put the whole ps brand in danger globally when they could just call it a different thing in japan. everything would still be the same.

The only good name is PS4.

Not me. Sounds stupid. I would bet they continue the current trend and just end up calling it PS4. MASSIVE ad campaign to "rebuild" whatever damage was cause during the past few years. Although, PS3 sales have pretty much repaired that damage already lol.

I don't think we should expect a "Vita" name change.

Not a bad name, actually. Certainly much better than Vita or Orbis anyway, for example.

It's a really strong superstition for some Japanese, to the point where the number 4 is removed from elevators and whatnot.

I absolutely hate the name Orbis so anything else sounds good by comparison.

Omni fits Sony's ego pretty well, I can see them going with a slogan like "Playstation Omni: the omnipotent gaming console"

i prefer omni to 4 to orbis.

They should name it PS6.

I could see them changing the name just for the Japanese Market if it turns out they go with PS4.
