I think it's a general American thing, not related to one race. People say Irish-American, Italian-American and more besides.

OT. It is racists to assume the new neighbours are the ones with weed if if it's because they are of a certain race. If I hadn't witnessed much or any weed presence in the neighbourhood and then there's this correlation of a bag of weed lying around and new neighbours just moved in I'd be suspecting the new neighbours regardless of race, culture, age, sexual orientation, gender, family status or professional background.

The KKK don't claim to be racist. They claim to simply know the truth about what the place of each race is in the world, and that the black races need to be restricted and controlled for their own good. Are you speciesist for knowing that non-human animals are less advanced than humans? No. KKK members believe the same about whites with respect to black...and Jews I imagine.

However, are you determined to continue to struggle to remove racists thoughts from views from your character or are you going to fall off the wagon and slip back into racial profiling? If you will continue to struggle to improve your instinctive thoughts towards people of other races then you are on the path to being a much better person; I hope this is the path you choose. I struggle against having instinctively prejudiced thoughts all the time, but I continue to try to improve until every last vestige of prejudicial thought is wiped from my mind.

So there are white people and african americans in USA. Why not european american and african american or just black people and white people? I'm spanish and in Spain they used to call black people "colored" which I think it's very ridiculous.
