Now this is actually true since almost 50% of Xbox 360 sales are done in the US.
PS3 actually has a healthy install base in all regions. They don't rely purely on 1.

so 360 overtracked by 450 and ps3 by 300. looks like ps3 gained more legroom again.

Wii U confirmed less than 604,200.


gah, you must have steath edited.  i was going to ask for that number you have at the end.

 

so wiiU sells 425k black friday and less than 600k in all of december.  is that.. good?  seems pretty front loaded to me but what do i know.  it's not like it was held back by supply constraints.

The 360 and ps3 were 33k consoles closer (on average) each week in december.

Nope, actually since Xbox is near negligible in Japan and you said that almost 50% of 360 sales are in USA. This means that Europe contributes >40% of the 360 sales.

So.. Xbox 360 ALSO has a healthy install base in Europe just not as big as PS3.
