How many games will Pokemon outsell in the Vita's library?

i highly doubt 60% but even if your right and 40% are retail that means Vita software this year are around 2.5mil in 6 months. All i kno is God Eater 2 + Killzone are the biggest releases and AC if it comes along with another COD, but i dont see more than 12mil, especially when ps4+X1 comes since everybody's money is going to be toward them

last mainstream sold over 15mil. Black2/White2 aren't the mainstream ones, they are directors cut like how Yellow/Crstal/Emerald/Platinum are! Pokemon BW2 is very successful.

Yeah, it's shockingly depressing. So if we guess the figure will be, say, treble this come the end of the year, we get around 5mil. Pokemon X and Y should hit that comfortably, so even beating the ENTIRE VITA LIBRARY seems possible now.



wait wait wait! Thats all sales up intill now WW for Vita? i just made a thread and i have almost 1.1mil sales in japan alone for the top 10 vita games!

anybody that plays pokemon knows its a third installment like every other generation. Just cuz it got a 2 instead of another color does it means it has to sell more. Like i said its doing well, over 6.5mil sales in a year (counting japan for the year) while it passed Crstal/Emerald which had 6.4mil sales! Platinum has around 7.5mil so i think pokemon bw2 can passed that by holiday easily and end with 8mil-9mil sold making it the 2nd best selling pokemon third installment of all time(nothing will beat Yellow version of over 14.5mil copies)

Yeah, it's not great outside of Japan at all. According to VGC, of course. But SW in America is only 180k for the first 6 months of the year, and just over 300k in Europe. I don't trust these numbers though, and including digital I imagine the actual WW figure is closer to 1.6mil.

It isn't labelled as a sequel because Pokemon never used numbers for sequels. It was names for both (Red/Blue and Yellow, for example), and now that they use numbers to differenciate the third installment you complain. And they are doing it because unlike Crystal or Emerald Pokemon BW 2 has a different story, set two years after Pokemon BW.

i didn't name the games, take it as you will, but remember its still third installment and will be the second highest of its kind, i think your trying to low ball it and make it seem like it bombed cuz your trying to compare it with the 5 mainstream games (that all sold over 15mil). Remember, Its sales are doing very very well!

Well this was bad, but at least it did not manage to outsell the entire library according to Vgchartz :D. So 56% of the poll voters were wrong lol. Still nothing to brag about. *Shameless necro*
