Now would be a good time for a Nintendo Direct detailing a few Wii U games for Q2-4 this year...

Aren't there only 3 games with release dates in Q1 for Japan.  I'm not sure if they can wait until later this year.

Dont worry, they have bayonetta 2, you know, the game that cause the HD fanboys to cry.  It will save the Wii U.

I know you are enjoying Nintendo's demise and all, but can you please finally correct the thread title?

Its been formally changed.  Always envisioned it as crete for some reason.

Does anyone have sales from the same week from 2007? I want to see where PS2 sales were during the same sales period.

Game & Wario, Pikmin 3, Wii Fit U, Wonderful 101, Lego City, Rayman Legends all are coming out before the end of June.  They'll be alright.

Will Sony cut the price of Vita soon? And those PSP numbers should add to Vita after PSP is dead.

360 looks ok, but then realized ps3 outsold it by a factor of 34 :P

74k on media create. That week last year would be the Jan2-8 correct?

VGC listed it as ~74K.

Nice... only 10% down with big titles this year I can see the PS3 flat ou even up in Japan this year.

1,234,279 is not that hard to beat and yeap 10 million coming this year... amazing... just more 3 million to catch Wii... first Europe, after Japan and then Worldwide.

Don't mind the quote, just want to have it for future references.

OT: Sony just used a Phoenix Down on Vita :)

I'm the only one that thinks that WiiU drop was smaller than expected?

3DS pulling big numbers, let's see how this year turns out.

MC stills tracks the PS2.

Anyways, here is Famitsu software.

I know what Nintendo is doing right now. Moneyhatting a Wii U exclusive "run for money" with 3DS crossplay.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

Vita doing well, and PS3 another 64k for PS3. 3ds still over 100k, or is it down? and PSP doing as expected.

Possibly if they drop price and Versus XIII finally releases, which it probably won't.

At least they'll have Kingdom Hearts Collection right?

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Does anyone have sales from the same week from 2007? I want to see where PS2 sales were during the same sales period.

Same week from 2007 would be the one ending January 1, because the week ending January 8 shows a clear drop from holiday sales.

Wii: 195k
DS: 344k
PS2: 52k
PS3: 69k
PSP: 118k
360: 18k

Here are the numbers for the week ending January 8:

Wii: 93k
DS: 89k
PS2: 22k
PS3: 25k
PSP: 48k
360: 9k

Ok just as I thought, the Wii never trailed the PS2 in any of the weeks its was released.  Fast forward to 2013 and you have the PS3 threating the Wii U, I find that interesting.
