Good numbers for Vita considering no new releases or colors.
Great numbers for PS3.
Decent numbers for Wii U. Will probably fall below PS3 next week.
3DS selling like hotcakes as always.
PSP refuses to die.

There goes the WiiU "domination" in Japan...Vita got a surprisingly high boost and PSP is beasting. If Vita got all PSP numbers it would be excellent ;o

Funny. Still..it is ahead of the PS3. Hard to bad mouth the guy in the lead when he cannot here you. Maybe next week the WiiU willfall behind. Or its newness will keep it selling while the PS3 drops back down to non holiday levels.

Has more to do with comparisons to the horrid PS3 start as it still did better this week in 2007. PS3 and Wii U are in pretty similar situations to where they're not doing very well and don't have a big hitter at the start of the new year.

Can PS3 sell more than 1 million this year?

Japan's New Years resolution: Stop ignoring the Vita.

And like all resolutions, it'll be interesting to see how long it's kept.

Doesnt really matter, Kaz indicated they are committed to the dedicated mobile gaming market and the vita.  I guess the haters are going to be staring at years of bad vita sales

It actually matters quite a bit... >_>

How is vita selling 33K without 1 game in the TOP 50?

The Vita attach rate must be terrible.

Not necessarily. What with download sales being such an easy process these days. I have maybe 5 boxed games for the Vita, but I've been purchasing lots of PSP type games, such as Final Fantasy (about 4 of them) all the GTA's, .  So 50% of all the games I have on the vita are probably download. I am sure I'm probably not the only one.

I doubt digital sales will make it look any more impressive.
