Forums - Nintendo - What do you think of the Wii U's UI?

I think the UI is great.

It seems to have got a little quicker, although can occasionally be a bit slow, but nothing that bothers me.

Nice and easy to use. Everything is easy to find and use, prefer it to the 360 dashboard, which is just crammed full of ads

really? how many ads do you see on the 360 dashboard?

Lovefilm ad, netflix ad a Barcelona/football ad, massive CES highlight section. While tucked in the corner in a small box is the start game option. The lovefilm ad is on over half the dashboard options. Its a console why isn't the start game option the most obvious?

Thats something I like about the WiiU, nothing is rammed down your throat shouting buy me, download me as soon as you turn it on.

... the Wara Wara Plaza is cleverly disguised ad-space, and it's the first thing you see when you turn on your TV.

You say tomato, I say tomato

"¡Viva la Ñ!"

I really like it. Shame it's a bit slow for some things, but being able to pause a game, watch a YouTube clip on the TV whilst looking at an FAQ on the Gamepad, then press one button to return to exactly where you were in the game is a genius idea.

It's very easy to follow and streamlined as well, though there's no need for Notifications, Friend List and Miiverse to be seperate.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

i dont care what the OS looks like as long as I can play a damn game. After all it is a game console.

Load times have to go and flist needs to be incorporated into Miiverse, apart from that I like it.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.
