Russia threatened America more than once about invading Iran. So yes they would start a war because of iran. Thats why russia supports Syria because they rely on russian weapons same goes for China,North Korea,Iran All of them are anti NATO, Russia would attack america if they invaded one of their allies.

Not a chance in hell, Russia makes most of its money selling oil and gas to western Europe, going to war over the tiny Iran doesn't make sense. China makes most of its money selling its cheap crap to the US and Europe and other countries why would it ever go to war with its main customers over Iran that has very little benefit for China? Russia threatened the US when NATO was about to attack Yugoslavia and they did nothing, China complained about its embassy in Serbia being hit by a NATO strike, but did nothing. We don't live in a fantasy world where World War 3 is right around the corner.

You don't watch the news much often right. Do you think if a country attacked a nato country America wont get involved? Russia would do the samething if it happend to one of their allies. And they said they would stand by Iran "allie" if it gets invaded.

I just told you they said the same thing about Yugoslavia and did nothing, it's all empty tough talk nonsense and I just explained to you that western Europe is more important to Russia's interests and US is more important to Chinese interests than Iran ever was or ever will be. It's all about money, you don't go to war to lose your most important sources of income and your best customers.

Iran is trying to rule the arab oil countries. They are sending shia muslims in Kuwait,Saudia Arabia,Bahrain to start riots and demolish sunni governments. Guess who need oil? The western countries. Guess whos ANTI western? Iran. So yes it is WAR WORTHY.

You have no idea what you're talking about, Shia muslims have lived in those countries for centuries, they are not being sent from Iran. The majority population of Bahrain is Shia muslim and 30% of Saudis are Shia. The Bahrainis are rioting because when they protested peacefully the police and military shot them and killed them. Saudi Arabia is ruled by fundamentalist crazies that treat their population like crap that's why their own people hate them and they have to be contolled through force.

It's more than legitimate to question the merrits of the Iraq war, however it's not legitimate to compare Nelson Mandela's return from decades of political improssonment with Saddam Hussein's ruthless slaughter of his own people.

Well, let's compare their crimes.

Nelson Mandela: advocating equality, ordering the odd terrorist attack.

Saddam Hussein: losing a war, genocide.

Mandela was freed because there was a growing movement for the end of apartheid. I don't see what kind of movement could lead to Hussein being freed.
